Siddhath was born in new delhi he was born into a punjabi family.Siddharth entered Splitsvilla with eight other participants. After Sakshi Pradhan's entry into the show, they quickly paired up. Siddharth avoided elimination by impressing the queen Joanna. He then won two competitions and successfully challenged the king, Mohit Malhotra. As the new king he was loyal to his group and he dumped the girl from his rival group. In the end he, along with Sakshi Pradhan, defeated Mohit and Joanna in a series of competitions and had Won Splitsvilla Season 2.

Siddharth entered as a wild card entry in the second week of bigg boss season 5 managed to reach Bigg Boss Season 5's Grand Finale and ended up as second runner up. Was Very popular in the show and got Maximum votes from public whenever he got nominated to be eveicted from the show. Bigg Boss was no cakewalk for Siddharth during his 86 days stay at the show. The youngest Bigg Boss 5 contender often fought with others when they called him immature. His bonding with Sky didn't last very long and Sky made all possible efforts to trouble him after the fall out. All his friends right from Mahek, Shonali to Andrew Symonds made an exit from the show one after the other. Though Sid had some really crass fights in the Bigg Boss house, but he tried to change after a few warnings from hosts Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Probably his quality to stand for what he believed in made him popular.
